Vacation Sucks

Vacation Sucks I have 2 days left on my vacation and nothing has gone well the entire time I have been off work. Verizon is ignoring my pleas for help. I have spent the last 2 days trying to get them to address my cell signal. I can't make calls or receive calls from my house, but everyone else can use their phones. I even got a new phone this week and still the same shit. No signal. I have spoken to 3 people over the last 2 days and when they realize it isn't the phone, they end chat. So I made a report to the BBB. I don't know what else to do except try driving around the whole fucking county until I find an area with enough bars where I can make a call. This shit is just ridiculous. I haven't really accomplished anything that I needed to over this vacation. My mower needs fixed and it is still under warranty. I have to take it to a repair place that is 30 miles away if I want the manufacturer to pay for the repairs. I can't make any calls with my phone, so I can't call any refuse services to get prices on roll off containers. I really need one to get rid of a lot of crap that was left behind by the previous owner. Plus I need to remove the disgusting carpeting and foam padding so I can start refinishing the hardwood floors underneath. I'm so fucking irritated with everyone and everything right now. Hopefully my vacay in October is better. Last year I spent my summer vacation recovering from foot surgery and then in October I had what I now believe was COVID. So my life sucks right now, how about everyone else? |

I have been having the same issue with my phone except I have att. Some days I have to drive a mile or two down the road to make a phone call, other days I have to get on the roof of the barn or grain bins. I have bought a outside antenna with a signal booster, but some days it doesn't work either. Good luck with it. Anything worth doing is worth doing right

Well... I'm not going to compare levels of 'sucking'... but... AND, my crap is a lot less crappy than yours. I could bitch about the heat 🔥! I wilt in it and just can't take it! Is everyone using the same phone company at your house? If not it may be just service in your area due to not enough signal strength or a tower that is down. If it's the first you may need to switch providers, f it is the second nothing much you can do except hope that they restart the service on the phone and try to connect to another tower nearby. Sucks but there aren't that many fixes for it except to wait patiently. Also if you are forced to change to another provider due to no towers in that area call tell them what is up. After that tell them you need to swap service provider you haven't had a connection in your area and they should bring it to someone in a higher position. Refund you for the money spent during that time period (hopefully if you had no connection for months).

I know how you feel. I wanted to get out and travel this summer but it has been way to hot and everything I wanted to see or do has been shutdown or cancelled. 2020 sucks and I don't mean in a good way.

AND, I have what I refer to as Virus Hair. Couldn't get a haircut when everything was shut down. Now everyone is open and booked full for weeks/months. So, I'm just going to keep letting it grow.

AT&T is the way to go, and life sucks, I have 3 weeks of vacation and have no clue what I want to do with it because of the virus

You just have to calm down - Chill out and work through what you can... No sense in spending you energy on what you can not control. Just calmly do what you can and take a little time each day to relax... Better days are ahead for sure
