Can You Tan Your Hide?
Can You Tan Your Hide? I come from a long line of "tanners". Well, not real long. I know my Mom and Dad were sun worshipers. Beyond that, the only habits that my relatives had that I know of was my great grandmother on my Dad's side was a swinger. When I was young they took me for a visit to her house and my Holy Roller Grandma had to go in first to make sure she wasn't having one of her "parties". My Mom said they went there once and a bunch of half dressed people went running out the back door. But back to the topic of this post, both my parents were very tan much of my childhood. I've always liked to maintain a nice tan as well. My 1st wife was olive skinned which combined with my genes created a lineage of tanners that carries on to both of my G-girls. In fact, what takes me weeks, they can achieve in one good day on the beach. Since joining this site, I've only dated one sun worshiper, the rest were "fair skinned, don't go the beach, SPF3000 wearing pasty-ass shade dwellers". Not that I mind, each their own..... there's something beautiful about that alabaster skin, something classic, royal-ish maybe, but put it next a dark tan and it can elicit unwanted comments. I had some sex videos of myself and a woman I met here a few years back, posted my profile. In the comment section a good amount of people wanted know if she was dead. She was that white. Her "whiteness" didn't bother , but between her and my tan, we had issues with getting the "bright" level correct the camera. In my 9 years this site I've only met one woman with the ability t.o tan, and the rest didn't or wouldn't. I myself love the sizzle and the smell of tanning, it reminds me of bacon. So, my question isn't whether you DO or NOT, but if your skin WILL tan when left out in the sun? |

I try like hell every summer.... Every summer is a red tinged bust. Irish skin.... I freckle, sunburn, and smell like sunscreen, but I spend all of my time off at the beach. I'm envious of those that can tan....

My normal skin tone is fish-belly white. Almost neon white (if there is such a thing) though I don't glow under a blacklight. I burn easily. Eventually though, I will tan. It takes a while but I'm willing to put in the time outdoors....as long as there is a place for me to swim. Sun, I like. Heat, I don't. I do love seeing the contrast of a good tan against my lighter skin. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Ya know that sizzle and smell you mentioned? Nope...that's not bacon. That's me, being out in the sun for about 5 minutes. Irish with pale skin and freckles. And I don't tan. I burn to a crisp in just a few minutes. These days I try to avoid the sun since I've had more than one episode with skin cancer and know there will be more because the damage has already been done. Would just like to avoid adding to the damage and perpetuating the problem

I am someone who likes to get a good tan. Preferably an all over tan but since the nude beach closed and I do not have a nice private bit of outdoors I have to settle for an area that doesn't get tanned. I try to keep that as small as possible. If you see me in the real world, come say "Hi Justskin." I always behave. Preferably not well.

I have been known to sunburn but can tan nicely if I'm careful. Last summer I was a very nice golden brown after three weeks in Greece and Croatia. A couple of hours of very intense sun every day, wearing SPF 50 sunscreen, for three weeks, did the trick.

I did, when I was younger. I tanned easily. And then over the years I grew to appreciate the shade. Is it an age thing? 🤔 I don't know. I just - ever since I became follicly challenged - decided to save those remaining (functioning) brain cells, from the UV. I'm down to rationing how many of them I can afford to loose. Ya know what I mean? 🤔 ... is there another way to look at it Going Too Fucking Far NEW Blog Features RevealeD O O A Foolproof Method Posted Over on that NEW site O O

If I do it right and build up to it I can tan. If not I become "Larry the Lobster" bright red. I find that women's tan line are often interesting to compare. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

I tan easily, always have. Was a sunworshipper in my younger years, now? not so much. I'm pretty careful about my face getting too much sun, I've seen the damage done to some women my age that were and continue to be sun worshippers. I do get out on sunny days an hour or two and try to read, or nap. Like you, I've had some partners there were very white compared to my olive skin tones, I kinda liked the contrast. On the down side, they weren't going to be spending a day at the beach or on a boat with me either.

I do tan as in I generally have a farmers tan but with one exception have never been one for laying out in the sun. That one time was out in Oklahoma after moving there from Vermont. I was home alone and we had a privacy fence around the backyard. So I went out right around noon. I didn't have any sun screen or tanning lotion stuff and having never been one for lying about in the sun wasn't even thinking about it. I took my shorts off and roasted my nuts in the hot July 4th sunshine 🌞. I wasn't out there all that long really but having moved from Vermont the only areas that had any tanning to start with were my arms. So the rest of me was very red when I noticed I was feeling a slight burning stinging sensation when I moved. I had a very bad sun burn and skin peeling off in sheets. That was the only time I have laid out in the sun. I used to always have nice tanned arms, face, neck and legs if I wore shorts but now the medicine I'm taking has lots of warnings about avoiding the sun 🌞 and that even wearing sun block which I'm supposed to wear isn't good enough and to limit my time in the sun. So I guess I'm not going to take up the sun tanning habit now either. But hey Santa never has a sun tan... Vive La Difference

I look at a cloudy sky, I go brown. I tan very well, but never sunbathe. I'm fairly brown all year round, from spending so much time outside. If I get too much sun I come out in a rash, prickly heat it's called here, my Dr once told me I was allergic to too much UV. So it's SPF 50 any time I'm out for prolonged periods, even on a cloudy day in winter. The other issue I have with sunbathing is sitting still, I get bored really easily.......

In the sun I initially burn which turns to a tan, and then I start getting darker, but the salon brings it on so gradually I just get darker. When I get to the beach I use baby oil and that's when I really get dark.
