As A Follow-Up To Yesterday's Post -- A Warning To The Gullible And Uneducated Viewing Fake Profiles

.

After I wrote yesterday's Blog post, and read some of the comments, I got to wondering just how bad the "fake profile" infestation is on here --- and, not wanting to let my singular expose' of a male fake profile yesterday taint my sample size, I decided to look at the women's side of the fence today.

It only took about a half hour to go through 80 of the new matches (20 per page) with the search settings open to women seeking men, 18 to 99, having at least one picture, and living anywhere in the world.

Once again I will not be naming names, nor can I forget to restate this note:

CLARIFICATION NOTICE: The pictures seen on this Blog post are from the Internet and none of the web sites that they were obtained from had any warnings about copying or using them.

When checked by using Google Chrome's search for image feature it was found that ALL of these pictures have web site links to porn sites.

But the next photo collage is what really brings forth how rampant the presence of fake profiles on here are.

Hook up with the most gorgeous girls in town!! We are inviting you to join our group and participate our upcoming orgy events.

We are a small group of swingers and we are looking for new members
For inquiries just send a message.

Please prepared for the interview.

Yes, there are 7 profiles, all on the same page, with identical pictures, age, headlines, Introductions, etc. The only difference in them is the last two numbers of the profile names and their locations.

Have I missed something or are there now advertisements being allowed on here for whorehouse franchises?

I can only guess that this "entrepreneur" is taking advantage of the way most guys have their preferences set up for distance from their profile locations, and don't see these "gang-posts" of fake profiles all lumped together.

-------- And yes, even though I did report abuse on ALL of them, God only knows if and when they'll ever be deleted.

That's why they could say big numbers of clients..by any chance have you received a mail from someone and once you try to check who it is ...it's not available anymore???
Have you tried to search your own nick on Google???you will be surprised were you appear...even on places you have never thought...

Your questions would be best served to someone who doesn't already know how this/these site(s) operate.

Due to the fact this and other adult dating sites have nude photos - they are also considred porn sites. Een your photos may appear to be linked to a porn site. So that is not always the best guide line when doing a reverse search.

When the same photo is appearing over and over in multiple cities I agree.

I have had a couple of my album photos stolen and used by other people as their main profile photo. I have contacted the site managers to have my stolen photos removed - many times over a year times, nothing has happened to the other profile and it is still being use.

There are many people who just do not care whose photos they take. And the genuine profile is then targeted as fake.

I would suggest people use the written profile, blogs and active member in groups as a more reliable way to determine if a profile is fake or not.

I've also had my pictures "stolen" and used on other profiles, but I could care less.

The only true resolve to whether a profile and the pictures on it are genuine or not lies in communications and face-to-face meetings.

I had a profile picture refused but they wouldn't explain why. I've reported profiles and blogs which contain a link to a personal website and nothing happens. Looks like they apply their own rules only when it suits them.

But to find seven profiles with the same picture is going something.

Those 7 "spam-scam" profiles have been deleted since I wrote this post and replaced with 5 new ones using the same Introduction narrative and different photos of the same woman (also reported)

I'll stick to clicking on profiles featuring ugly women, those can't be fake profiles or they would have picked different photos.

Please don't let me be misunderstood.

I've read many Blog posts showing "ugly" women's pictures on fake profiles, so that negates your practices!

So there you have it.There is a lot more going on than people want to believe. It's funny how I would get inundated with beautiful women sending flirts and hot listing me a week before my gold would expire.Pay for another year and they'd dry up.The glitches here are perpetrated to show a history of infrastructure instability
which of course helps to explain a lot of things if they're ever investigated.

The ignorant defend this place and take the easy way out of not wanting know
what's really going on by blaming all these men that call fake as just bitter from rejection.Honesty?Really?

Using more than all the road!

I truly don't believe that people don't want to believe what really goes on, I believe that P.T. Barnum was a man with insight far ahead of his time!

I wonder if Senior Sizzle is in on all this bullshit?

When the Ashley Madison site got hacked and caught using 'Bots' (site generated fake profiles), they publicly admitted to doing so. Right after that happened, which was in between the two times A.F.F. has been hacked, the founder and owner of A.F.F. came out with a press release and site statement that they have never and will never use 'Bots'.

You'll have to join the rest of us in wondering if there is a grain of salt truth to this statement, or if it's just another example of smoke-and-mirrors rhetoric.

When he said there's a sucker born every minute he was referring to the
deformed and mentally ill that he exploited for money in his freak shows.
What a stand up guy.

This is from Wikipedia:

When Barnum's biographer, Arthur H. Saxon, tried to track down when Barnum had uttered this phrase, he was unable to verify it. According to Saxon, "There's no contemporary account of it, or even any suggestion that the word 'sucker' was used in the derogatory sense in his day. Barnum was just not the type to disparage his patrons."

Some sources claim the quote is most likely from famous con-man Joseph ("Paper Collar Joe") Bessimer, and other sources say it was actually uttered by David Hannum, spoken in reference to Barnum's part in the Cardiff Giant hoax.[citation needed] Hannum, who was exhibiting the "original" giant and had unsuccessfully sued Barnum for exhibiting a copy and claiming it was the original, was referring to the crowds continuing to pay to see Barnum's exhibit even after both it and the original had been proven to be fakes.

I've learned something new by looking this up from a reputable source. Have you?

I don't think A*F*F cares too much about fake profiles, it makes their numbers look better and I doubt it really causes them too much harm.

This site is getting crazier by the day....

Be Honest..Be Sincere...Be REAL

I have to agree with you. When I first started using the site it appeared that the fakes would be deleted in a few hours. Now, it takes days, if they even bother to delete them at all.

I wish Senior Sizzle would do more to rein in the fake profile posting rampant on this site.

Patti_Kake replies on 8/14/2017 2:50 pm:

Even when members fill out an Abuse Report it appears as though it takes days/weeks for them to act on them, and that doesn't always guarantee that they'll delete those fake profiles reported.

It's just another example of their 'who-gives-a-shit' attitude as they continue to operate a substandard web site until they can once again file for Bankruptcy in 2020.

Interresting analysis..we are a clever member. I have been on this site for fun and asked myself the same questions. Are yhese profiles real or is is just a trick to lure men ?
In my case, I am quite skeptical about meeting somebody ..just to talk and exchange a few e-mails on this site nyway
Yours truly Robert

What's the point of showing a fake pic unless you never intend to meet.Unless you use a pic that looks a lot like yourself for privacy reasons.

In a word ..... money! Most of these fake profiles are generated by scammers who prey on ignorant and weak-minded individuals who can be easily convinced that their wildest sexual fantasies will be realized if they will only send them some money or a plane ticket so that they can be together to act them out.
