Donald Trump Here's the timeline for Coronavirus in the US. On January 24th the US had it's first known coronavirus case. On January 28th China's daily cases breakout through mid-February. 2nd chart On February 10th the US had 10 total cases. Donald Trump stated the virus will go away in April because of the heat. On February 20th South Korea's daily cases break out through March. 3rd chart If you see a breakout of daily cases in China. And then you see a break out of daily cases in South Korea. And you start to have cases in the US. And you have advisors telling you to take it seriously. That you need to act to minimize the spread of the virus. What moron wouldn't realize that a break out would happen in the US if nothing was done to prevent it?! Oh! That's right! The Moron Donald Trump! On February 26th the US had 15 total cases. Donald Trump stated 15 cases will go down in a couple of days to close to zero! On February 27th Donald Trump stated it's going to disappear one day! Like a miracle, it will disappear! February 28th Donald Trump stated at a rally this is their new hoax! February 29th daily cases begin to rise. March 8th daily cases break above 100 for the first time. March 9th daily cases break above 200. March 10th Donald Trump stated we're doing a great job with it and it will go away because of what I did. March 12th daily cases break above 400. March 15th Donald Trump stated it's a very contagious virus. It's incredible. But it's something we have tremendous control over. March 15th daily cases jump into the thousands for the first time! 1237 cases. March 16th Donald Trump stated stay at home and social distancing recommendations. Too little too late. Donald Trump's response to the coronavirus has nothing to do with telling the future. It's about properly handling a pandemic. Which he has clearly not done and continues not to do. The same is with reopening. It has nothing to do with predicting the future. It has to do with how they handle reopening. That is what I shall criticize. he has no grip on whats happening in the present! oh, except that hes running for reelection . . . Sorry. I can't fault Trump, or anyone else, for not knowing the future. Yogi Berra said, "It is hard to make predictions, especially about the future." To carry this further, when will be the optimum time to end isolation? No one really knows. And such decisions will be critisized.
