20million people have the flu in america. 200,000. in the hospital. Flu will kill 35000 americans including at least 200 children. And all we hear about is the coronavirus??? historically, its death rate is TWENTY TIMES that of the flu. and its only been here less than 2 months. if youre only looking at TOTAL numbers versus fatality RATES and TRENDS, why dont you go play in the highway? maybe wear ear-pods while there? statiscally, if its ONLY your ONE death (or two), it wont mean anything, right? OF COURSE, i dont wish that on you, but it SHOULD make the point. while were at it - "only" 50 people per year die from lightning every year in the US, but when its lightning out, dont you take cover? so why not treat corona, something thats killed 1.000 people worldwide, and is rapidly spreading here thanx to our global economy, with the same urgency to prevent it rather than be content to pick up the bodies afterward? 100 deaths is better than 1,000, but still not acceptable if we could have prevented them.
