Donald Trump: What was the real reason Soleimani was assassinated! What was the real reason Soleimani was assassinated by the Trump Administration? Soleimani was assassinated because he was just arriving in Iraq to meet with Iraqi Prime Minister. Because Soleimani was meeting with Iraq as a go-between to improve relations with Saudi Arabia. And if Saudi Arabia and Iran were to form an Alliance, then Saudi Arabia could possibly no longer trade oil using the US dollar. And that would be a big hit to the US economy for the US dollar to no longer monopolize the oil Market. Right now countries are getting away from using the US dollar in trading oil. I am not surprised by this one bit, as the POTUS had no evidence at ALL that Soleimani was going to do anything to anyone. Just because he was a dangerous man with American Blood on his hands is why they assassinated him!!!
