That Middle Place

it was that middle place
that he was searching for
that middle ground
between the extremes
where there was peace

where he could survive
without panic
without anxiety
without depression
where there was peace

there was this place
in the middle
that offered sanctuary
that fed his hunger
that quenched his thirst
that soothed his angst

but it was around the corner
out of view
he couldn't see it
there was only faith
that it was there

so he began his journey
to find that corner
and around it
he would walk
to see what was there
to see if that middle place
was there waiting for him

so he kept walking
sometimes alone
sometimes with others
they would turn around
and tell him to follow
he had to trust them
they were the others
that new of that place
that place of middle ground
it was a resting place
it was<b> death </font></b>that he found
when he turned the corner

 like I said before
I just let it flow
I let the words flow
they flow from me
I never know what
they're going to say
until they enter my mind
and I write them down
then I am finished
wow this one is pretty dark
