 Her statement was she did not do well on the exam. This was a bit of an understatement. 47% is more than not doing well, it is serious failure.

 As a teacher you have to do what is right for the student, and obviously you can't let her get away with lying to you.. Have a great day..

 If the student is rewarded for efforts not learned, just what will be expected when the student is out of school , a true path to failure.. Is better to be a year back in school, than a failure for life

 i agree with Tmpt. I am interested in why she concocts that story, its quite obvious that you have access to her file and can see it is an untruth. Thats curious to me. It seems like she may have a flare for the understatement....lol

As an aside....i like how u have done the profile pic. I too am in a school district and was told early on by another here to never have identifying info on these kinda sites. You have done well~~
