A Crazy Cat Lady Transition? "Hey, I took a picture for you." I glanced up to see Nose Hairs scrolling through his phone looking for a picture. "You did?" "Yah. I saw this on a pet 4-way this morning and I thought of you." It was a stainless steel pet bowl in the shape of a fish. Really??? I don't think I scream crazy cat lady when you see me.... I'm not covered in cat hair and I don't have a single sweater with a picture of a cat on it. "Oh, that's cute." Dammit!! I really did think it was cute! "I saw you post that picture of your cat on Facebook the other day." "Oh, that was Blue Steel! Wasn't that hilarious?!?" I just happened to glance over at Tilly and catch her at just the right moment. She was Derek Zoolander staring at me from across her left shoulder...." Um, yah. The transition has begun. Next thing you know I'll be sharing food from my fork and leaving the tv on for her when I leave for work. Egads.... And, yes.... I did buy the fish shaped pet food bowl after work today. Happy Thursday! |

Nose Hairs is that coworker that likes to talk.... endlessly..... about pets.... and retirement.... and money.... and what houses are for sale near by.... probably derived from an unavoidable observation  ps: guess I missed a few post

Nah. You’re not there yet. You need at least 5 cats to be considered Cat Crazy. (Shoos my five cats away...I’ll feed you when I’m damn ready! Yes I’ll use a fork to mash it!) ..now where was I? Oh yes, you’re perfectly normal. (Coughs a hair ball)

My black lab died 2 years ago. Because I live in an apartment, he stayed with my ex husband when we got divorced. He had been my oldest son's constant companion, and my oldest son stayed with him too so it wasn't so bad. Jack was old, and blind, and had hip dysplasia.

I just knew you were gonna buy the bowl. I'm a sucker for my Great Dane. Sometimes he gets in bed before me, and i have to squeeze in a small spot so as not to disturb him!

nah, it's not crazy until you get a pet cam and keep tabs on her while you're working. (my daughter does this with her dogs, I made her unplug it while I was dogsitting for her last year pre covid)
