It was a balmy 25 degrees....

What better reason do you need get out and stretch those legs??

I don't always get the opportunity walk the beach at Sturgeon Bay in the winter time.... This just happens be one of those weird winters where we've gotten very little snow, so I took advantage.

I'm glad I did!

It was cold as shit and the wind was brisk but I saw some amazing sights that I don't normally get to see.

Mother Nature is an amazing artist!

Thank you for taking the time to share your wonderful outdoor photos with me / us, it was nice to see the shoreline, the ice balls, snow and ice up there that you all received.
I was hoping to see some ice caves... Nothing yet, I don't think it's been the right weather to create them. I'm glad you liked the pics.

It's well worth freezing your assets off to see images like that.
I walked quite a ways down the beach.... It's so weird to see it in the winter time. The changes in the ice formations and beach area from one spot to the next are just amazing.

Great pics, thank you for posting them! We're just getting ugly snow and sleet here, which for once I don't mind since I'm off until Wednesday!
The best snow storms are the ones that happen on a day off! I can't complain, this has been a fairly mild winter for us here, hopefully it keeps that way.

Be sure and wipe those dirty boots off on the car floor matt when you get home. Our high temps for the week is supposed to dip into the upper 60s this week! Brrrrrr!!!
The toe on one of my boots is still covered in sand. LOL But, yes, it is sitting on that floor mat by the door. Upper 60's... shorts weather!

You're getting the storm that just passed through here..... They ended up getting more snow downstate than we got up here. It's been a weird winter for us northern michiganders..... I'm not complaining though.

Beautiful pictures. Sounds like it was a nice day to be out and enjoying nature, even if a bit chilly. lol
You do... Do I know you?? Lol It was a nice day to be out and about exploring nature. A lil cold, so I was dressed warm. If I hadn't been alone I would have explored the ice more, I was being careful.

Twenty five and no wind is sweatshirt weather for me if I am moving.

I am laid up right now, so going outside is not in the works for a bit. But we would have probably gone cross country skiing on the new snow today as it was around 28 to 30F today.

Going out in the winter on nice days (even some breezy days) is necessary for the mental health, not to mention the muscles.

Good for you, keep it up as often as possible.
It felt really good to get out.... I agree, mentally it was just what I needed. Got some exercise, some vitamin d, and took in some sights.
