Twas the night before Christmas.....

Twas the night before Christmas..... And the downstairs nightmare has followed through the house. What a fucking troll! It wouldn't be so bad but she talks so loud I can hear every word of every conversation she has. She initially woke from a dead sleep when she was yelling about something.... So, I got and went out the living room. Suddenly, she was there as well. So, I went back my bedroom And, now she's there too. I really do think she's following purpose. What a freak of nature. It doesn't help that I'm not feeling well... Once Again!! The thing is.... I never get sick. I'll get one cold, maybe two, throughout the course of an entire winter and I'm good. So far I'm on sinus infection number two. What's different this year? Well, the prolonged mask wearing is different. I don't think I was meant be wearing a mask for 8-10 hours every day. It's killing my anxiety, but I can usually get over the initial suffocating feeling after an hour or so of wear. What else is different? I got a flu shot this year. I work with a lot of people that refused get one.... They don't 'believe in them'.... They say they make you sicker. Now I'm wondering. So, here I sit, middle of the night, nose running and sneezing, listening Mrs. Wolowitz yell into her phone at 2:47 in the morning. Yah, everyone is stirring in this house. |

Damn. Could 2020 be any more of a dumpster-fire year?!? Is this a rental building do you live in? If, so, though it may not always produce positive results, is there a landlord to attempt to address this to? Regardless, are there other neighbours who are just as likely to have to be listening to her? Would it be worthwhile organizing some sort of group appeal that either she get hearing aides (cuz she seems like she’s damned-near deaf), or that she needs to try to consider that there are (many?) others around her who are fatigued by her actions? Chances are excellent you’ve already considered/tried them, but ... It’s funny (oh, not haha) how much our mental and physiological sides are tied together. If you’re feeling run-down, anxious and generally harried or upset, it shows up in your health. Maybe, if things start to improve in a month as the overall society’s situation really, really hopefully improves, perhaps your health issues will calm down. I know, that’s all fairly-ridiculously hopeful. Sinus infections might not have a particular relationship to a flu shot, but who knows - we are all different. And not necessarily in predictable ways. I hope you can enjoy the next few days, as much as possible. That may mean gagging the fucking troll. And, not even in the good way. Whatever it takes to get some peace and quiet, though, right? Maybe you can figure out a spot to add her (in the role of ex-neighbour) into the lyrics of The Irish Rovers’ Merry Xmas to Me ... Merry Christmas.  I have called the apartment manager and complained about them in the past. For a while it was about cigarette smoke... That was terrible. She has since quit. Then it was the loud gaming in the middle of the night. That ended quickly as it violated their lease agreement. The problem with the complaints is that we go through apartment managers like crazy. Nobody sticks around long enough to see it's a continued problem.

I've been in more chronic pain than I bargained for this year and I'm convinced it's to do with what else is going on! On top of that, I now have to have an endoscopy procedure next week because my iron levels have dropped considerably low, although I'm not getting the usual symptoms?

It's shit to feel sick. Get well. Sleep works, if you can find it. 🌹🎅❗❗🍷😎

I have my allergies since fall and I still have them but they are turning into my chronic bronchitis that I get every Winter. I am starting to feel the effects of the covid and the mask. She sounds like my neighbor.

I've been hit with pollen allergies once this year, so far, so good.

Hands you some Kleenex and hot tea. And a box of spiders that you can leave at her doorstop. They haven’t been fed in days and they love toes! Just kidding. They already ate.
