Alice Cooper Eyes There are a lot of things I think about during the course of the day.... Is my zipper zipped? Do I have food in my teeth? Is that a pimple I feel starting emerge on the side of my nose? Will they ever find Jimmy Hoffa.... One of those things I should be thinking about, and usually do not, is what does my make up look like? I mean, let's face it. With my own personal sauna mask strapped my face each and every day, wearing make up has become a challenge. It's impossible look fresh and dewy when I'm sweating my ass off and breathing in my own exhaled oxygen. Let's not even get started with my hair... So, it was a pretty eye opening surprise when I happened glance at myself in the mirror today and saw the state of my eye make up. Eye shadow had somehow migrated below my eye and mascara clumps were dotted along my lower eye lid. When I tried to rub it away, it was no use... Everything was literally sweated into place. Helen Keller could have done a better job putting my make up on today. I gasped aloud and immediately cringed at the sight! In the back of my mind I suddenly remembered why I had bought waterproof mascara the last time I needed new mascara. The waterproof kind actually stays on my lashes... I don't actually care for the waterproof mascara as it's hard to remove so I easily talked myself out of buying it again. I had forgotten the original reason why I got it to begin with. When it's all said and done, the last thing I want to see in the mirror at the end of the work day is Alice Cooper staring back at me. It's just not a good look on me. |

In terms of makeup use.... I've been all over the board. I find that the older I get, the less I wear. When I was in my early 20's, not going to lie, I was high maintenance and I did wear a ton of makeup. The funny thing is, I probably needed it the least back then, but I felt perfect and complete when my hair and makeup were done. While a lot of guys say they prefer the natural look... there are also a lot of guys who prefer that perfect and complete look. My ex husband was one of those guys who liked it when I was 'polished up'. When I was having a bad day, he would usually say 'go polish up, we're going to go do something'.  @ funny things  Polished up is nice! I always thought it worked better when stepping out so to say. Otherwise, a woman shouldn't have time to get polished up : as-in

Honestly, it's all over used by so many women its a wonder they have time to date. Heavy use of makeup screams high maintenance - and most men know this There should very very little makeup - and it doesn't matter if you do look like Alice. That's what women see - - - before they try to cover up their face like a democrat trying to cover-up corruption.

i don't wear make up anymore. i can remember i bothered to wear lipstick for my brother's wedding. that was 20 years ago... i would occasionally breakout the lip liner and lipstick for time to time. i gave up on the eyeliner a while ago and never was a mascara gal. but i did used to curl my lashes and was surprised how much people paid attention to that. my morning routing is to have my clothes ready to go in the morning and do a quick dash to the office. now that i am working from home since march it's been a perpetual day of jammies except for shopping day which is once or twice a week. i have no idea if i have worn the same outfit to my dining group...

Waterproof IS hard to remove. Halloween 🦇 one year, found me with that in hand (or eyes) on a costume I'd chosen. I know what you mean. ❗ 👍 😊

definitely...waterproof mascara is a must to have item...other wise every fucking time, i get the black spots under my eyes, too...especially with me wearing contact lenses, my eyes are always watery anyway...
