Welcome to Northern Michigan!

Where it can be 50 degrees one day and a blizzard the next.

Its fantastic!!

So, here we are, it's the middle of a blizzard once again, and all I can think about is when in the hell is this winter going to end.

Between sickness and the roads it was a skeleton crew at work yesterday. Even Boss #2 wasn't there, which meant, Boss #1 was free to roam, wreaking havoc and leaving a trail of destruction in his path.

My days are infinitely more interesting when it's just him, I find myself being asked to do things like take his picture for the corporate structure board.

Easy task, you may think...

But it's actually very grueling. You will literally take 20 to 25 pictures in 18 different locations with varying degrees of lighting before he finally lands on one.

"I don't like my chin in this one. It looks deformed."

"I look like I had skin grafts in this."

"I can't use this, look at those bumps on my forehead."

Finally landing on one he will agree to use is not the end of the process. It still has to be printed and looked at by him for his approval.

"I don't like this. Something is coming out of my nose. Look at that black spot."

Ugh!!

"It's fine! That's your nostril. Nobody is going to see it, your picture is like feet up on the wall."

"I don't like my chin, can't you smooth that ??"

"No, I can't smooth that , it's a cleft chin."

Shoot me now....

We'll see how long these photos last on the structure board. I'll be sure to look Monday morning when I head back to my office to see if they are still there.

Funny story.... Meme guy messaged me a picture of Sloth from The Goonies and told me to use that for his photo. (He was witness to the whole ordeal.) I almost has one printed just as a joke... Boss #1 doesn't have our same sense of humor, though. LOL

    I took a video of my grandson taking a beautiful swing in spring baseball

I'm so envious of your beautiful weather.... It turned out sunny today, but I spent most of the day sleeping after binge watching Castle Rock for a few hours. That's a pretty song... True story, when i googled it just now, it pulled 4 different weather sites, each telling me different weather reports for Gaylord. LOL

people usually don't aske me to take pics, because, two or three is all you are going to get

now, don't get me wrong

I'm patient, and I think I have a good eye for the right shot

but, I'm not wasting time on hundreds of pics

 It's a shame you couldn't Photoshop it...maybe add a carrot where his nose was supposed to be. Or a large zit where his cleft chin is.

There are different pictures of me on various boards throughout the offices. The one I hate most is the one on the safety board, no glasses, flushed and sweaty, having a bad day. Everyone sees this picture every day because it is in the breakroom.

If he would just be ok with the way he looks, it would be even better. I was using his phone to take the pics.... I doubt he has that app.

 Did I mention the last photo he took of me had my eyes half shut and my face all contorted because I was literally telling him not to take my picture... And he posted it on our recognition site for all to see in a form of recognition?? It was horrible....
