Suck it up, Buttercup! You pushed the crazy button.... After getting absolutely no sleep last night, I wasn't in the best of moods today at work. Top that off with 4 hours of new hire orientation in a room the size of a thimble with the heat set on blazing inferno.... I was a ticking time bomb when Boss #1 popped his head into my office to lecture me about leaving the conference room door open. Not only did he shush me, he stepped back a full step when I unleashed my wrath on him. Needless to say, he didn't speak to me for the rest of the day. I'm pretty sure he was afraid. Prick.... That's what you get for pushing the crazy button. |

Secret_lade You had every right to respond to your boss. I cant imagine how hot the room would have been if the door was shut.

Retired here, so all I have to worry about is my FWB doing something crazy that I have to deal with! I was a boss many times, never really liked it tho. I had several bosses that I didnt like also, only one that ever put 'moves' on me, an older widowed woman who made her desires well known to me any time we worked alone together. We had a few after work sessions in her office, she was pretty good, and her age didnt turn me off, was 10 years my senior, and am betting her hubby was well satisfied when alive, by her. Of course, as far as I know, she had no idea I was also having funn with two of my co-workers, one of whom was married, the other was engaged. both had good reason to keep our funn secret.

It does, and it doesn't. Boss #1 can really make your work life miserable if he so chooses.... We usually get along fairly well, even with all his craziness.

just glad that stuff is all in my past. retirement is nice, I have the best boss, I even give me days off , sometimes a week at a time.. but I don't pay for it..

3 times today I had a supervisor go off "to me" about one of my crew members and it got annoying even if it wasn't about me. I guess everyone wanted to vent to me. I hope you and your boss get past this. I like hearing about y'alls interactions.
