 You can set up a 'for your eyes only' blog and then put that in your status line, that anyone can contact you there, it is private, only you will see the messages and your reply to them is private. I think standard members can mouse over someone's handle and see a quick glimpse of their status message.

btw....you might want to break up your long paragraph into smaller ones...just makes it easier to read.
