LOST

Lost and afraid
Falling and without an end in sight
Addiction is pain, Life is pain
Depression such an evil force

I can see the ’s smiling faces
I hear them say I love you
The echo’s sound as if it was a past life
I don’t even feel myself in the same room

Where have I gone?
Why did He leave?
Why is everything so hard?
Will I ever crawl out of this fear?

Frustration, agitation, heat exhaustion
Insomnia, cravings, stressfulness,
Frightened, alone, hopelessness
Just a few of what lingers in this mind

Confusion, numbness, heartbroken
Envy, jealous, ashamed,
Feeling like a burden, forgotten, and blind
Sadness of knowing someone is there, but your mind refuses to fathom

Why bother? You know what will be
This is your sadness…you know who you are
A speck of dust that needs to be dusted away
Throw glitter through their windows…that way Your pain will not saturate their lives
