car rides with strangers

well I was a function and it went well, In this new city that In am in. there was a friendly old man there. he was nice. asked me my age then kept telling me I looked or 19. it was sweet of him. I didn't think anything of it. I am later walking home when a car slowly drives up on me. I turn around and it's him. he asked me if I needed a ride so I slid into the suv. I was nervous, was this charming old man going try put the moves on me? we again kept telling me how young I looked and I played coy and thanked him for the complements. told him that he didn't look much older than I was (trying to be a flirt) he seemed flattered. but either was just being a nice old man or didn't take the hint, maybe I should have invited him in as he was dropping me off. I don't know. what should I have done!!
