 ya, I am pretty sure that is EXACTLY what they mean. All the sex of a relationship without any other actual part of a relationship. Sex, and only the sex. No talk. No friendship. No expectations of anything after that. Except maybe more sex.

 I take it a bit differently. I see it as the exchange of physical pleasure between consenting adults. If it works, it continues. If it doesn't, it is a one-time thing.
