Date night (gone horribly wrong)

I had a friend set me up on a blind date while I was traveling not to long ago. From the description (and the photo), he sounded really cute and this would be a fun evening. We made plans to meet at my hotel and then go out for dinner and drinks. I had a really cute skirt outfit picked out (definitely a head turner), and was set to jump in the shower and then get dressed. Well...the weather decided that it did not want to cooperate with my plans and started to rain...then pour...then hail. Humpf...Back to the drawing board with my outfit and decided on a different look. Thirty minutes (and two selfies) later, my date arrived. I should have know that this night would go horribly wrong when my date didn't quite look as he was described. If anything, he wasn't the athletic to average build I was let to believe, but rather...well...the best way to describe him is the Pillsbury Dough Boy. Undaunted, I held out hope of a great dinner out. Silly, Silly me!! As he came into my hotel room, he announced that instead of going out to dinner, he (Dough Boy) brought a home cooked meal for us to share there. Umm?!? Now here I stand, having expected to go out, and the Dough Boy if pulling things out of bags and his backpack; not the least of which was a toothbrush, mouthwash and other "morning" items. Just when I can't believe that this evening could get any worse...It does. Silly, silly me!!! For the next thirty minutes, I find myself trying not to be groped, fondled, and cornered. Needless to say the evening ended on a low note when I calmly and politely informed him that I would rip off his genitals and shove them up his ass all the time with a smile on my face. It is amazing how quickly men make an exit when faced with a woman who will give fine detail as to how they (the man) will fornicate themselves. In the end, I ended up going to a local diner where I meet a really cute waitress who joined my for drinks...in my hotel room. But that is for a later post.

These things usually happen when someone makes a blind date, the ideal is to know the person with whom you want to interact and much better than waiting in a hotel room is to meet him in a public place, a club or a place to Take a drink or dance, so you'll always have an idea of what the blind date has and you do not have to fall into the vulgarity of meeting a person who brings you prepared food, when the ideal would have been, meet him before dancing and go to dine at a restaurant that does not have to be expensive, but it is the best way to meet someone, if after all this is done making love, better than better.
