Freedom

I look at the sky, with dreamy orbs
Its white, its blue, its untethered
The sky is calling me, cajoling me, tempting me
To take flight, and taste the essence of its freedom

I take a deep breath, deeper than deep
Wanting to flutter, wanting to fly
The sky is all I desire, now
For me to be me...for me to be free

I feel the soft touch of the wind
Cuddling me....caressing me....
Slowly, I float....then fly....then soar
Unshackling my being

I explore the emptiness
The feeling is ecstatic
The vast expanse embraces all of me
Is it yet another shackle or am I free ?
