I want to see your face

I received a message from some that I've never communicated with, the message was "I want to see your face." Nothing else writing in the message.

I replied (as I always do 😀) and asked if that is the only reason why she messaged me. I went on to say that I typiy establish a dialogue width some before I send them a face picture. She replied stating "sorry to bother you, I was just curious."

While it's true that if you don't ask, you will not get what you want and/or the answer to your question - but I'm surprised that she actually thought I would reply with a face picture. (Note: she does have a picture of her face as her profile.)

Perhaps it's just me, but prior to exchanging additional information (e.g. picture, email address, etc) I expect to develop some rapport with the individual.

Would you have replied to this message? If so, what would have been your reply?

 I do have photos of my face on here, but if you pass me in the street, you wouldn't know it's me which has happened a few times.

Before I pass on too much personal information, I have to get to know the person really well.

I might have replied, depending on my mood. but there is no way I would have done what they asked.

I also do not accept friend requests from strangers. Got a request today from someone I've not spoken to, they didn't even bother to go into my blog.

 ya, I don't exchange face pics with anyone ON this site, and we have to talk awhile before I will exchange one off this site. But that being said, I do want to see a face pic relatively soon, as to me that is the area of attraction that matters the most.

I agree with all of your points, especially the getting to know someone prior to providing them personal information, including an email address.

I concur with you and would like to see a picture of the person I'm speaking with, but it's not a requirement prior to starting the conversation.

V - I wondered whether the picture on her profile was truly her or not. I didn't even check her profile to see if we had any common interests and/or additional photos of her.
