Baseball - The Game

Baseball - The Game I'm a fan of Baseball. Thinking it's my favorite sport. I know for many - it's like watching paint dry. In the World Series this year, I'd like to see the Nationals and Yankees. Growing up in Central / Northern NJ and also living in Manhattan from '79 to '84 I was a Yankee Fan. In '84 I moved to Northern VA just outside of Washington, DC. At the time In '84 DC didn't have a Baseball team. In 2005 the Nationals came to life. Early on - DC did had another baseball team many years ago called the Senators from 1901 - 1960. Since 2011 I've been living in Atlantic City. Which is considered South Jersey, The Philly area. Yes I'm also a Phillies fan. Hope I'm not the only watching the Yankees / Astros this evening. Enjoy, Enjoy... Never have enjoyed watching baseball, did like to play when younger. Since that great philosopher Mr Kapernick decided it was OK to kneel for the National Anthem I have not watched another NFL game and will not allow any to be aired in my house.

I think the Nats & the Yankees will make a great series. Looking forward to it. Born and raised outside of DC so I was a senators fan. Glad to have baseball back in DC. Enjoy the series.

I'd like to see the Nats and Astros. Just can't pull for the Yankees. There could be some great pitching matchups with those two. So glad that the Nats swept the Cardinals. I think the Nats and Stros share a spring training facility in Florida.

I am and have been a serious baseball fan my entire life. A Yankee fan from day one through the good and bad times. I’d like to see Yanks in the WS also...it may be a tough road especially after losing game 2. They have a monster offense and a very good defense but in the post season it’s mostly about pitching and I think Houston and the Nats are the strongest...but hey in the post season you never know..

Yes you are right the Washington team Moved to Minnesota in 1959 became the Twins, then Washington got a new team in 1961 called the Senators till 1971 moved to Texas became the Rangers . Did not have a team till 2005 the team they have now the Nationals. I grow up in the D.C. area all my life and am a avoid Baseball fan. You can guess what team I am rooting for.
