My Challenges - Part 1

In search of the next US State I'd move to.

Now living at the Shore in NJ. really not fond of the cold that winter brings.

The past year I had my heart set on the OBX of NC.
Then I found out how pricey the homes have become.

Someone mentioned to me to check out .
I've been on the web checking home prices in the Myrtle Beach area.
Much cheaper than the OBX, NC area.
I don't know at all

I am trying to keep it east coast... along the coast.

The past few days I've been doing research on Transgender friendly states to live.
Getting info on what I really didn't want to see or hear.

pretty much a strong and confident person who can look the other way.
But I do want to be happy.

Just sharing my thoughts and challenges...

~Holly

Hi Beautiful, OBX is very expensive. Maybe down around Buxton and Avon this is further down in OBX. You are a very strong women and know how to look away, but you should be able to be yourself and happy. It is sad that people want to ruin and make other people who are happy with themselves unhappy. You are a beautiful women on the inside as well as the outside. You deserve to be happy and the best for you.

I was raised in the South but as a Transwoman I would not live in it, particularly South Carolina. Well. practically anywhere below Virginia and above Florida. However like most states, there are bad and good people and I don't know all your reasons and criteria for where you want to live. As far as that article featuring Chase Culpepper some states now allow you to to have an X where it says gender. None in the area where you are looking but maybe in the future. Good luck and be safe. Ciao.

Hi Gina - I do hear what you're saying about those states.
Time will tell. I think it's so cool you living in my old area

Hey Holly , I wish I knew of a great place but it's really a hit and miss all up and down the east coast ,, I grew up and lived in northern VA most my life and unless you have some money you can't go there ,,, the tidewater area down towards VA beach and Norfolk are about the only places close to water and there not the best places. South Carolina and the mertle Beach area is nice but sure you know it's not the most accepting place for trans even thou there are a few that I know that live there .

Georgia, what can I say , don't do it ,, the only place on ga, that is about trans friendly is maybe altanta and that's about it . Fl might be about the only place I would think about ,, there's are alot of girl down there and from the once I have talked with they love it , they say it's only the summer time that they hate but most will say it nice there , you could try asking some of them about it there and find out some info about the state , I do hope you find somewhere nice wherever you do find Holly .

Thank you so much for what you wrote and for reading and leaving a comment in my blogs. It's greatly appreciated.
I do know Northern VA very well. Before I lived in Atlantic City. I spent 27 years between Reston and Burke. Had a video/multimedia company in Springfield. Thinking Fairfax County is the best area I lived to date. Only complaint was all the traffic. Thanks again...
