Beach Day - Playing in Snow
I moved to the Jersey Shore to layout, get tan and play in the sand.

Who knew - Today's a beach day.
Times have changed - Playing in Snow
This is so not me. But I'm having a good time.

You've mentioned it before...and I know... You'd never make it here ... lol
-5 F last night . . . Beautiful clear sky.
The thing with the cold, is.... I can stay warm , by dressing up in the right clothing. Layers of wool and cotton and nylon and waterproof rubber, rated to -45 F.
And when I walked along my deserted beach last night, as the wind whistled in my ear and tried to mock me.... I felt as free as ... well as free as a bear. Alone, and happy and leaving footprints in the dusty snow. By the time I had made my way back along that same path, and past where I had left my tracks - they were gone.
Yep... two worlds..

Beautiful pictures. You go to the beach to build sandcastles and find out you can build a snowman. Yes the clock is counting down towards retirement and moving south to sunny warm weather.
Has your count down to moving to warmer weather started

Hi Ed,
My search is still on.
My first choice has always been the Outer Banks of NC.
But lately I've been trying to be realistic about it.
That area does get pounded with storms.
Now I'm also looking into the Myrtle Beach area.
We shell see.

That photo came out really good.
I was just clicking away and decided to use that one.
