Fond Memories - 2009 Flashback

Career wise I always loved what I did. Throughout my life I had two very fun careers.

1) Late 70s until 1992. I was a Recording Engr at various Recording Studios mostly in NYC and the DC area.

2) in 1992 I opened up a Multimedia Production / Broadcast Video Firm right outside of Washington, DC in Northern Va.

I closed in all down in 2010 / 2011 and called it quits. I somewhat miss many of those days. Never having a bad day of work. I truly enjoyed what I did.

Growing up my folks always made it very clear... Turn your hobbies into what you want to do throughout your life. It turned out so well

These photos are about a year or two before I closed down and moved to the Jersey Shore.

Fond memories are such a wonderful thing.

That's awesome that you got to turn your hobby into a career and be so successful at it. Not many get to do that. You are truly a very talented and bright young lady. With all the amazing pictures you take it seems like that is your next hobby turned career. Really do love looking at all the wonderful pictures you take.

I'm trying to keep photography as a hobby and leaving it at that.

Would I like to do something else before I really care it quits. Maybe!

Working in the studios with bands/musicians was fun.
I then gave it some thought what I should be doing for the 2nd half of my life. That's when video came into play. I went after the fed govt. and corp america accts. It paid off.
Thanks!

You're lucky to have had 2 careers that you loved. Not many people even have one career they love let alone 2.
I think I've finally found something I love. Retirement.

Yes, I agree. retirement is a pretty good thing to do. I do like to keep somehow busy in the biz world. I'm always keeping an eye out.
