Social Distancing

Well, Dear Reader, the world is in a critical place. People are dying, people are getting sick, and some people just don't seem to be getting the seriousness of what is going on.

Some people aren't taking social distancing seriously. People are angry, that they can't lead their lives as they're used to. People are thinking of themselves, instead of others, as they fight over the goods on less and less well-stacked shelves. People are stealing from hospitals, taking hand-sanitizer, masks, even single-use scrubs are disappearing. All because some people are only in it for themselves, instead of thinking about the common good.

I'm quite disgusted by the selfish attitudes, and the utter lack of understanding and compassion.

Sorry that this post is such a downer, but I worry for the people close to me, who could be in jeopardy.
