Back to the grind....

Back to the grind.... Oh, yes, just had my first day back at work, after my 3 weeks of summer-holiday. Boy what a way to start it again: up at 4.15, on a train at 5.34, and work started at 6.45 (all of this AM).  So as I said earlier: London for a week with friends was fantastic (my home away from home, any time of the year) - can't wait to get back. Then a week at the Tønder Festival. First 3 days exploring the region (some of the time in a canoe, some of the time in my car, some of the time in a bus, and some of the time by foot), while getting used to living in a Tenthouse (imagine a square, plastic oyster, perched on a metal frame, that opens on a hinge with a tent on the three open sides. Inside a 135x195 cms matress, and a couple of cubbyholes down the side - and electric light and outlets). Very comfy (especially as I was staying in it alone). Then 4 days/nights of AMAZING Folk/Country music 12-14 hours a day/night. Add sun, high temps, and good food/drink, and you have an amazing time (OK - we had a thunderstorm of biblical proportions the night between Saturday and Sunday, which made me wish I wasn't alone in the tent....) After Tønder, I spent two nights with the Boyfriend (meeting up for the first time), which was fantastic! Lovely guy, considerate lover, cleaning-skills need improvement - so worth the work I intend on starting up.... Then back home, an impromptue concert in the street in Copenhagen with one of the bands from Tønder, some laundry, some golf, and my own bed (alone)..... How was YOUR vacation? Sounds wonderful darling!! Me, Myself and I went to Berlin, enjoyed Curry-wurst and weissbier and en general had a good time !
