Tomorrow will mark 3 months in the apartment and next weekend will be 4 months since we separated.

Also tomorrow we are going to a marriage counselor. He gave us each a questionnaire so he could get up to speed quicker. OMG, I new we had problems but I wouldn't have called our marriage FUBAR. I thought we just were growing in different directions and were both too stubborn to change enough to get back together. If I couldn't laugh I'd cry, how in hell did we stay together 31 years? Now I'm concerned that we won't even be able to stay friends for our 's sake.

The apartment is shaping up nicely, I have almost everything that I need and can find most of it.

This site is weird, I'm getting messages and flirts from people in Australia and Japan but can't get an answer to an email within 20 miles, except from 1 guy. I guess I'm safe at a distance but up close no woman on here has the guts to try me. Is it because I'm separated, or old or both? Just because I have "a heart-attack" on my bucket list doesn't mean that I'm going to die in the saddle with the first woman I meet on here, lol. Hell, meet me at the gym and I'll work you into the ground!

Speaking of the gym, I have to take tonight off, it seems that I am too old to go 6 days a week for 2 weeks without my legs going dead. I had added cardio on Monday nights and Yoga on Friday nights and was only taking Wednesday off because it is my 10 hour day at work (plus a 3 hour commute). So, now I'll pace myself a little. What I really need is a Friday night distraction, any volunteers?

So, tonight I'll do a little shopping, come home for dinner and read a book. I hope the book thing doesn't ruin my image on here, I'm much more comfortable being thought of as an old jock than I am as literate. I guess it's got to do with my taste in science fiction and mysteries. I don't read "the classics" and don't quote them, I just can't be bothered...

And no, you really can't teach an old new tricks, unless you can make him think it's foreplay.........
