Good Deed ... :) Totally stoked, as someone did a good deed for me today and I them ...  After work, I headed to the dreaded food store. The first time having been there - I wasn't prepared for the "quarter for a shopping basket" thingy. I'm digging in the bottomless pit of my purse for one, and, a man came out with a cart. Taking out my earphones, I stated couldn't find a quarter, would it be okies if I have the one he was going to put back. He said yes, then asked me if I needed help with loading my stuff in the car when I came out. He didn't work there, was more like a "fixture" of offering to help in the hopes of making a few bucks. I was only getting a few things and really wouldn't need assistance, tho, of course, I told him absolutely! So, when I came out, I called over to him and he wheeled the cart over. While we has putting the bag in my car, I opened my glove compartment, where I had two unopened paper disposable masks, just in casies. Gave him one, and, five bucks. He was incredibly grateful, thanked me and walked away. I wanted to give him a bottle of hand sanitizer, tho, only had one ... UGH ...  On the way home, I realized that I forget to buy caffeine. So, stopped at another store and picked that up, and apple cider. While at check out, they had hand sanitizer .. bought six of them ... I'm going to drive by tomorrow and see if he's there, as I want to give him some ... It's such an awesomeness feeling to give of yourself - so rewarding - no matter how big or small ... We all bleed red ... let's do our part by protecting ourselves and others, let's be more luving and kind, let's be DECENT HUMAN BEINGS" ...  In Luv, Lite, Laffter ... |

Oh Ho you must have been at an ALDI. They started this in Europe: it serves several purposes: cuts down on payroll [ no cart person to pay] and keeps cars from getting dinged in the parking lot cause folks want the 25 cents back. I love that you gave him money and a mask!!! I gave my cart to the first shopper I see and pay it forward (Virtual Symposium Group) use Virtual Symposium Group
