They are essential for me - LOL ... once the broiler caught on fire ... since then, my kitchen skillz have drastically improved ...

 It's happened to me as well.
Here's a tip... if ya shut the oven off and keep the door closed _the fire goes out on its own.
True... and THAT'S, the way the pros do it.
Or so I read after emptying a fire extinguisher into my f**king oven - back in the day. 😶🍷🍷❗😎
Yep... learned the HARD way! Damn.
Took an hour to clean, as opposed to a minute more of patience.
And so now... I give advice. 😊👍😮

Ya, I had no clue how to handle the flames ... LOL ... seems I've passed the stage of almost setting dwellings on fire! Oh ... the addy to the patience store has a line ...
