Quote Of The Day: 8-27-20

"I wish Rainbow Bridge had visiting hours" - Unknown

So, today at work, had a conversation bout our furry friends that we've lost, especially the ones we had to put down. How hard it was to hold them in our arms as they left us to live on Rainbow Bridge. The next thing you know, we are both in tears ...

And, I'm in tears now ... so grateful for the memories shared with my doggie ... still miss her every day ...

In Luv, Lite, Laffter ...

It is so sad when we loose one of our family members, as that's what they are a part of our family. This is a beautiful prose my friend, I hope your evening is a relaxing one..

Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

There is one emergency vet clinic here in Tucson that after that terrible evening/day has passed, sends a card with the rainbow bridge to the grieving pet parents. I'm in tears now....

Losing a beloved pet is losing a family member. Those who have never been through it, often don’t understand. Those of us who have share a kinship unlike any other. Thank you for sharing those beautiful words.

Animals are so unconditional - us humans could learn a few things from our fur babies. Thank you, my friend, quiet peaceful nite ...

That's exactly what we had done. It's a very kind gesture on the part of the vet. I hope they were happy tears! Having had them in our lives was a blessing - they are waiting patiently to be reunited with us ...

Tears shed over treasured memories help keep us grounded. Glad you still have some four legged family running rampant! I'm sorry for the loss of your pets, and, of course, of your wife ... *gentle hugs*

We share our daily routines with our animal friends - takes time to get out of those habits. You are so rite, pretty lady, it's one of those things that if you haven't been thru, it's hard to identify with it. Fed my doggie bacon and eggs on her last morning with us. Haven't thought of the moment for a long time. Thank you for this - so much appreciated ...

I so appreciated this tonight as I look at my adopted cats from a no-kill shelter, thinking that since they are older [ 8 and 11] I have to cherish every day. I got them a year ago after I had to hold Lily as she went looking for Holly[ and that one I cant even talk about still]. My cats are family

Makes me smile you that were able to take away something from this "quote of the day". My fur baby was also a rescue also - 18 when she drifted off to Rainbow Bridge. And, now there, she runs freely with all her toes, fully whole ... she meets my mom every day half way across for treats ...

Us pet parents never get over the loss of our four legged babies. Aaawww, I'm so sorry for your loss. May the memories shared bring a sense of calmness to you ... *gentle hugs*
