AFF: Not as Good as it Used to Be? I have been on Senior Sizzle since 2003. For about thirteen years, it was amazing fun. I would somebody, she would back, we'd meet, and then most of the time (because i guess everybody can't like everybody) we'd go back to "her place or mine" for a night of wild sexual abandon. I have hundreds of amazing memories. But the last few years, has been<b> weird </font></b>on Senior Sizzle. I would say that, ever since around 20, a lot of the new profiles put up women are , or they're "bots." (Maybe the new profiles are too, but I don't know, because I'm not checking that side.) And for the real profiles, I , but very often: crickets. No reply. Has anybody else noticed this? Maybe there is too much choice now -- not just on Senior Sizzle, but in the world as a whole -- and people are now just "looking, but not touching." Or maybe it's just that I'm getting older, and now women want a guy? (I think I look pretty much the same!) Who knows? Has anybody else had the same experience? It just seems like there's less actual meeting through Senior Sizzle than there used to be. |

I once was a member, many years ago. Back when the site offered Silver as well as Gold memberships. Yeah, that long ago.  Took a break from it and had planned to come back and get the Silver deal, but too much time had elapsed. C'est la vie. But I digress... I've been here now for going into a year (Feb I think?), and have noticed a ton of scammers. They're fairly easy to spot, but are becoming more clever and wise in their tactics to new and unsuspecting members. Standard members don't have a way (most of the time) to contact others, unless they use what little points they have. Standards can create a blog and a private postbox that does work for other Standards to contact them, and vice-versa. The drawback with that is there's a slight time delay. The ratio of men-to-women is greatly unbalanced; I think I read on another's blog that it's about 3:1 in favor of men. Women can obtain Gold for free when they create and regularly update an Icebreaker. I did, that's how I have my Gold. But, the IM is a whole different beast here. A year ago, it worked quite well. then around June or so it went through an *upgrade*, or so it was called. It's full of quirks, bogs down, and freeze up more times than it's worth now. I don't use it anymore because of that. Standard members have to spend whatever few points they have not only to send an email via the site, but to send an IM to someone. Long story short, I agree. It's not as good as it used to be, even in a year span of me being here it has taken a nose dive fast.  "Be who you are and say what you feel.
