I'm On It. Thank you!!! Couple of weeks ago I made post saying that I been gaining a little bit of weight. That I need it to lose some. I asked about diets in that post. I got some good feed back from you. I thank you for that. I like food. is hard for me to say no to food, especially cause I have a lot of friends throwing invitations out. But If I quit smoking. if I said NO MORE to cigarettes, I can definitely say no to food. I just have to want to do it. I know I can. which brings me to say that I gained the weight when I quit smoking. cause I was eating more to stop the urge for cigarettes. but now I have that under control. so I can now move on to my next plan. which is to watch what I eat and how much I eat. I know I can do it. I been watching what I been eating. been on a diet of Fish, Chicken and Turkey. Also salads and lots of fruits and veggies. I been making my own tuna salad. that is what I had the last 3 days. today and tomorrow is chicken, eating salads in between and veggies or fruits. I also eat in moderation. Thank you for all your suggestions. I'm on it. I still will eat a hamburgers with fries or any other junk food but only sometimes. I am making a plan. maybe eating healthy during the week and spoil myself over the weekend with in limits of course Haha. Took this picture of me this morning. still early. but I have going down a little already. I just gotta stay on it and be consistent. no buts or excuses about it. |

Eat good during the week...chicken, steamed if possible and work out that sexy body of yours at the gym 4 to 5 times a week. Think how sexy you would look at the gym wearing short..shorts and feeling good about your self!! Then eat bad on the weekends. You look great in this pic you posted!!!

just eat in moderation and when you go out, if you get a big plate of food, eat half of it an take the rest home

Congratulations on your commitment and the start. I know the difficulties of losing weight. At my age it is even more difficult but I was too idle while recovering from some injures which lead me to sit all day and watch TV and snack. I was at my highest weight when I got the okay to start being active again. I gave up sugar and while flour, but not a fanatic about it, and started walking and reducing my portions sizes. After 6 months, I have lost 26 lbs. Sounds as if you have your diet under control but how about exercise.

If you can quit smoking, you can put your mind to doing anything else. I'm sure you will lose those extra pounds.

You seem to be eating healthy. Just don't try too hard with the dieting as you don't need to lose much more weight IMO.

Keep up the good work Lady N Red! You may want to add in some real nutrition along with the "watch what you eat" and "the how much you eat" advice. Intake vs out take....consume less and burn more Targeted exercises for the core and engage your core the whole time!!
