This group,,,,,,, I have been struggling with this for a couple of years now. I have now reached a point where I can no longer do this. It has become a thankless time eating chore. So before I explain why, I need to thank 3 people who have helped me over the years. First a huge thanks to our former group Hosts clydecouple2 or as many know them as Bill and June. Guys you have helped set up, been there for advice and a listening post all these years. I feel as if I have let you down for doing this. Next and just as important was slow_n_easy007. She helped me with finding guys and running the parties. Thank you for helping with clean up and set up. I have been asked by a couple of people what happened? I honestly can not say, but the end result is a lack of people attending. I can stab some guesses as to why. Its not a Hotel party, I charge everyone, My home is old and the stairs suck going upstairs. My house is not nice enough for folks. Lack of big TV. No music, not wild enough. Lack of Gold membership. Over the years I have been told by most everyone how much they enjoyed the party and they can not wait for the next one. Then with that they pretty much disappear never to be heard from again. I have screened people to keep out the riff raff. This takes time. A lot of time. I hear all the time how I need to do more parties. Every month at least. So early in the start up of this I tried to fill in with smaller parties. And people stopped attending. Flash forward to the last few months where every month has had something going on. The result ,,, the same, people stop attending. This time I barely had 5 guys. As your Host I always do not get to play. Nor do I always have the time to set and wait for a space. There are times when if you want a bonfire, I have to set out there and light the fire and watch it through the evening, Yes for the first couple hours of the party I was on my phone a lot. This seemed to have rubbed some people the wrong way. Well I was on it directing others to the party, taking calls about being late and of course the I can't show up calls. I thought hosting would open doors for me. However it seems to have closed doors for me. I know of several events that happened and no invite was extended. Or in one case an invite was extended then the info was never sent along. I have had one couple, time4fun662 that has ever invited me to anything. On a side note this couple and clydecouple2 are the only ones where the ladies ever gave me a huge thank you hug and kiss at the end of the night. Thank you Ladies! So where does this bring us to for the here and now? Good question and one to be honest I am not sure of. I hope that perhaps people will use the group site for events or meeting local people. There may be some gangbangs from time to time. I have a large project in the house coming up. If I get this done and depending on how things go, I may have a party in the summer. No promises. What I would do is turn the group over to someone else. What ever I am doing is not working. So if someone else wishes to step up let me know. I have asked for ideas and suggestions on this blog and all I get is more silence each time. I just can not go on like this. To all that attended over the years, my honest thanks for attending. To my regulars, I am sorry I let you down. I had hoped for more. B |

No regrets! When we handed off the parties to you it was really for the same reason - and we generally had an open door for our parties. People just didnt show up. many of the complaints we got was we were too far away: many people were coming from Cleveland and Toledo and Columbus. So when you agreed to take over, we thought it would greatly help the group as a whole. I guess we were wrong also.. I dont know the answers either

First off I'm the one that doesn't leave messages very much. Thank you for everything you have done for the parties as well as helping us. I try to thank you because it's the right thing to do. Yes, we came to parties where all I could do was be a fluffier. I know that some people had issues with way do people come if they don't play. Well one it's a party that if you play great if not that's fine too. I know life gets in the way at times so parties are few and in between. You have heard all the reasons why people cancel at the last minute. Shit I came to party while my husband was in the hospital. Why because he asked me to go plus I needed to get away and enjoy myself. I hope someone will take over but if not so be it. JUST KNOW WE ARE STILL FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! June

Hello, We have only been to one party, and greatly enjoyed the laid back atmosphere, even tho we didnt play that night. We felt very bad when we had to cancel in July to head to Colorado at the last minute for Kims Mothers passing. We were both really looking forward to both the July party and the November party and were disappointed it was cancelled. We do understand the reason why, and dont blame him for doing so. We even offered to come out before and help set things up. We hope we can get invited to another party sometime. We know setting up and arranging a party takes a lot of time and effort, and we would like to thank B. for all his time and effort. Thank you, C. & K.

in our time as party goers we found that the lack of females are the cause of groups dieing. if the females are there so will the men.
