Like you, I miss my parents the most at Xmas. There's not a day goes by that I don't think about them but Xmas is always a poignant time.

So very well written. I think most everyone has lost a loved one in the past few years. I lost my Father and several friends this year. Your words brought a tear to my eyes but, in a good way. Thank You and hang on to your memories and those that we still have near and dear. Have a Great day, Joy.

I miss some close friends and family this time of year but i'm fortunate to be able to spend some time at Christmas with my kids...

 ... had a short visit with grandkids from the West last evening. To day we visited the cemetery to wish all passed family members along with a few others a Merry Christmas!

Well said Joy, yes your absolutely right too for so many of us, wether family, friends, have passed away, or cant see or at the ones of us who are trying to be safe for our loved ones and friends and such yes. At least you have found memories of the ones you love and ,its too, were as some dont sadly. I find you write in ways that are nice can go form veery sexual to very personal to your thoughts and such hence the blogging and blogging in all sorts of ways too. This is the time of yr that makes people think, wether its happy to sad depending on the person and what they have dont or bene through and so forth.
