I finished school in 1978; I've not been to any school reunions. not least because the friends I made at school are largely still my friends. On finishing school, punk rock was the music to play and dance to, though there were a few prog-rockers who didn't go along with this. But you can't dance to prog rock and anyone can dance to punk!

Sounds like you had a great time. I was never into any of the reunions that popped up in my neck of the woods. Party pooper or just not interested in those old buddies? 🤔 I don't miss those days, but I recall them fondly. ❗❗😎 ... is there another way to look at it Going Too Fucking Far NEW Blog Features RevealeD O O A Foolproof Method Posted Over on that NEW site O O

Skipped my 40th (class of '81 also). It was back in my hometown. 4th of July weekend. They wanted $15 per person to attend saying the cost was to cover salad bar and pay for a banner for a float in a parade. One of my classmates owns a bar type place and it was held there (booze and other food purchases was his profit for 2 nights). I never went. I was in the city though. My view was that with my bad colon I wasn't going to pay for food that I couldn't trust to eat causing health stebacks plus I wasn't going to ride on the back of a semi truck trailer in over 100 degree temps for a few hours so wouldn't help pay for a banner I had no use for. My wife being a banker and myself retirement... living off investment income from the past) sat down and crunched some numbers per people who would be attending plus low and high profits the classmate would make off the bar with his overhead for the evenings.... I asked for him to donate the food and cost of banner as a donation to the class instead of charging because he would profit off everything beyond the provided salad bar and he would prifit well over the cost of the banner from the business flow gained in two nights. Their greed won and many of us didn't show up to pad the pockets with coin off of our reunion. Sad deal as it could habe been organized differently, bring your own food and booze at a local lake or park with no cover charge to get in. Needless to say I did not invest in that plot for their profit. No loss to me Sad when greed (money) prevails friendships 𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕜𝕤 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕓𝕖𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕪𝕠𝕦

I have never been to a school reunion, if I did I would probably thump a few of them. My brother went to one when he was about 50 he found it a sad experience as a lot of his mates had died or were quite ill, he only lived about another 3 years after himself. Great if you enjoyed the experience I suppose, I am hoping to meet up with some old mates again soon from my teens. Covid deaths hear are still running at about at over a hundred a day and infections are still high, the older folk are mostly cautious and wearing masks on the bus or shopping but I fear another wave before the end of the year but now it is the young that getting ill although they are about to vaccinate 13-18 year olds. We have now over 75% of the population double jabbed. take care xoxo

I went to my 20 year reunion in 2007. I have stayed connected with some classmates. U2’s Joshua Tree had just come out when I graduated. 🎸 Funny women are incredibly sexy!

I have never been to a class reunion and have been out of school for 26 years. I was not invited or otherwise notified about the 10 year reunion and found out later that I was not even listed as being a member of the class. Almost the same story for the 20 year reunion. I have seen pictures of both reunions and they were attended by the same group of douchebags that I hated in school anyway.

Graduated: 1967 SA Tx, Go Owls Senior trip: Fort Polk La. no didn't do Vietnam, felt guilty for years! Songs: I'm A Believer - The Monkees a high school friend helped produce them. Last reunion: 40th year The best complement I got in HS was at my 40th. I needed glasses the day I was born, didn't get them until I was 11, plus I was left handed, needles to say my sports career never took off. I could not play football but I could make their cars go fast! I was talking to football player who remembered me when another player walked up, looking at my badge, Hmmmm, Do I know u? My friend said: U should, he was the official mechanic of the football team! I have missed the get togethers because of C-19. Love the post, brings back great memories!

You were and still are a very sexy lady Joy... I'm not much of a reunion guy but I do have some friends from high school that I still keep in touch with.

I have not been to a high school reunion. I have connected with pretty much everyone on face book. Our class was close to 900 graduating so there are a lot of us.

So : What year did you Graduate High School? 1977 Have you been to a High School Reunion since? Only my 30th, all the same people act the same in the same little groups. Needless to say for someone that was invisible in HS, being invisible 30 years later didn't matter. Did you reconnect with anyone and now years later have stayed connected? Nope, those days and people are long forgotten. Are you like m e and missing a Reunion due t o COVID? Nope, and I will not go to another one.

Next year is our 50th anniversary. Hopefully the virus will be cleared. I have missed more than a few due to military service. Over all it has been a whole lot of fun. Now to see how long we can care this on

Not trying to be a downer here but I escaped in 1983. I have not been back nor will I go to a "class" get together. You ask yourself , why put "class" like that. Because they had no class. I was beaten, pushed and tormented every day. I had books thrown out the Windows and reminded how dumb I was all the time. Life was hell. Suicide had a stigma around it so I never considered it. I just suffered though it. There was so little joy, it is hard to think about going back to the good old days, when they were not good. Now College on the other hand was a different story....
