I certainly was no athletic star, and my grades were only in the top 20% or so. No reason for me to be remembered at all. An Early Valentines Day Gift for You, on HNW Does Anybody Else Feel This Way OohOoh That Smell [post 3312759] My Private Blog - Tell Me ALL Your Secrets

Hi Joy! My glory days was playing baseball and basketball in high school. I can remember pitching a one hit game. In basketball I scored 5 points with one second coming off the clock. Made a jump shot two points clock stopped was fouled made a free throw one point. Stole in incoming pass made 2 point under the basket in one second. Another glory day was playing hockey in the Ft.Wayne Coliseum before the Komets game. Butch

Being a huge Springsteen fan this song always resonates with me, makes me think of my glory days playing high school football & soccer, among others. I relive my glory days by following soccer religiously and coaching rep soccer for years until just recently...puts a smile on my face.

Skating naked. What a concept! Seems like it could hurt though. I never was an athlete of any kind, but had some minor glory days (at least fun times) with music.

Great read!! Sports and competing seem so trivial to so many, but not everyone gets it. Sports were the first thing that taught me that if I worked really hard at something, I would do better. And I did. I became the best basketball player at my school, and by the time I left, was voted top 5 in the league by the coaches. One of my greatest regrets is that I didn't continue to play in college. I was just thinking today how I haven't felt a high like the crowd going crazy as I hit three pointer after three pointer. 36 points one game as a sophomore. My dad was always there, keeping score, traveling, watching every game. I'm hoping I can pass on some of my passion and skill as I've been moving into coaching. There was no season this year though. I always like to think that the best is yet to come, but those truly were glory days. Thanks for posting!

My glory days were playing competitive hockey as a kid. My kids followed in dad's footsteps and also played competitive hockey. Good memories

I was the brainiac in school. I also showed and trained horse and won a ton of ribbons as a youth. Great days!

That is one of my favorite songs my sexy friend! I did some pitching back in the old days and even today I can throw that speedball pretty good. I was also a great long range shooter when I played basketball. Also, I was really fast so I would win those tough dodgeball games and scored 8 times once in a soccer game. ⚾️🏀⚽️ Funny women are incredibly sexy!

No sports. In Jr high while heading from the field to the locker room a friend was being a smart ass and gave me a flying tackle to the legs from the side. Shattered my knee. After that I only raced dirt bikes (mid to late 70's). Since 1979 I raced cars on dirt. Owned and raced just about everything. street stocks, super stocks, late models, modifieds, midget sprints, 360 and 410 sprint cars. All came to an end with one horrific accident. Was racing on a dusty track, worse than ANY blizzard snow storm that I had ever driven in. Us leaders came up on the back of the pack to lap them. One car had spun towards the infield coming off corner 4. In an area of the front straight away where we accelerate from 70 to 90 mph, he pulled back up into our racing line. I hit him in the right front and it launched me 30 feet into the air. Knocked him back off the track. racers behind us didn't know I was p in the air. Flagman didn't see the wreck because of the dust. I landed on top of a car that was still racing at around 90 mph. that sent me into an end for end and sideways violent series of flips while on fire. That ride lasted for about the length of two football fields while violently flipping. It was the days before Hans devices but I was wearing a Simpson SRS-1 head and neck restraint. Probably the only reason that I am still alive. Two years later cancer set into my damaged internals from them being scrambled by the g-forces and impacts. \i have been healing ever since. I still own two Legends Cars and a midget (like the ones they race at the Chili Bowl) but don't race anymore because of my health. Haven't been into athletics since jr high..... my competition was on another level. ♫ Life in the fast lane.. surely make you lose your mind ♫ ~ By the Eagles ~Wee~ 𝕋𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕜𝕤 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕓𝕖𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕪𝕠𝕦
