We will never forget the bravery of our men and women on that day. Forever are they in our minds and heart, LET FREEDOM RING...!!!

I want to take you into the fiery lair of steamy sexual delight on this hot sultry night.

It was surreal and incredibly hard to process the enormity of what was happening. I remember driving in my car and listening to the news feed from NYC. I spent the rest of the day riveted to the TV, trying to comprehend WTF had just happened.

I love that you posted photo #5- united we stand and we will triumph over terrorism.
I know exactly where I was- in my office scheduling hospital surgical cases. The insurance co-ordinator asked me to join her in the conference room to review pre-auths. When we looked the glass window in the door- the TV was on and we saw some smoke and flames. We went in alone to find out what was happening and froze, barely able to push the doctors' call button

I rang for the surgeons and all 6 of us stood there tears pouring down our faces, unable to gather our co-workers. We had a waiting room full of NPO cases waiting NOW how do we handle that. This evil deed would make it impossible to give anyone anesthesia - a couple of them had first responders loving in NYC and some had military family in DC and MD

I planted poppies in my yard

America is beyond grateful for those nations who stood with that day and the years since.

I was at work in the office. I remember that morning being a crisp, clear September day. I found out midmorning. A tv was set up in the cafeteria and a large group of people were there watching in stunned silence. My boss was frantically trying to reach his wife who had to take the subway line that passed under the tower. She was fine. My boss wasnt able to go home since the bridges and tunnels were closed. I watched the building maintenance man park a piece of heavy equipment across the driveway to the loading dock as a protective measure. We had no idea what was next.
On the weekend after the 11th, I remember driving through Brooklyn which was just across the river. The site was still smoking.

I got home from work and turned the TV on. I just couldn't believe what I was seeing.

I was on working the 10th (24hr shift) when I got home I was watching it all unfold on the news. We had a busy night so I dozed off. When I woke up one of the towers was down. I watched for hours that day.

I was woke up to" hey a plane just hit one of the Towers" they say it was an accident. I sat there and watched the second one hit and knew it was NO accident. Years ago I lived outside NYC and at night when I went for my evening walks the Towers were there. Sometimes lite up all aglow other times just lights on here and there. I have not been back since the attack. I think I would just feel such a huge hole in my heart not seeing them there.

As a side, bless all the Volunteers that showed up after after the attack that are now sick or dead because of what they inhaled or absorbed. I know we have lost one Fireman from this area back a couple of years ago.
