I think that part of the reason some people avoid those without a face photo is the greater than even odds that one without a face photo is cheating on a significant other. I know that there are other reasons for no face photo as well. Your small town (is much larger than mine) might be a reason.

The little black dress hiked up is a favorite of mine. I prefer to see who I am meeting bia photos, there needs to be a phtsical attraction to go along with the personality...but yes, the photos could be old and they no longer look like they did

Good luck with your date. I used to have a face picture but took it down to stop the views and flirts from the 20 and 30 year olds. I have gone from 51 down to 13 at the present time and lose 3 more in the next week. If I was to get involved with someone from this site and she wanted a face picture I would give her one or live chat with her. So nice to be insane; no one asks you to explain.

I would. After all, a first meet is simply that. I have the people skills to excuse myself if things go awry. That is a prudent risk one has to take if they are going to meet their sexual soulmate.

I have one picture online and that's it - on a professional site that requires it. I don't even like family posting photos that include me and raise all living hell when they do. Social media can be a stupid persons quest for recognition. Stupid because confidentiality does not exist on line which places everyone at risk they never consider. Its even worst for professionals but here is where "shallow" rings a loud tone. They're usually educated enough (and have enough at risk) to understand how unattractive shallow people can be. For they too read profiles just like you  Its good to see you holding on to the intrigue while you waited to meet in person.
