 I wrote one the other day that when I hit "post" ...my internet connection dropped. I backed up and it was gone.

Two really easy things you can do: First is to write in wordpad or notepad (nearly anything else messes up punctuation or formatting). The second (which is the one I always do), is to highlight everything and ctrl+C before hitting the post button. Easy to do and will generally help avoid the overwhelming compulsion to throw the computer out the nearest window.

 Might I suggest, my dear author, when writing in the future to do so in a word doc type program...saving as you go.... and then you'll always have it in the event A*F*F decides to be an assmonkey and lose your work

 Yep, Ive had this happen a few times. One of the few things that sucks about Senior Sizzle.

I find it's always best to simply write a piece out on your computer and keep a txt file tucked away somewhere secret. After all, what would happen if Senior Sizzle suddenly imploded? All your stuff would disappear and you wouldn't be able to take it anywhere else.

If you don't want to save it, at least copy it once it's written so that if it disappears when you hit "post" you could just paste it in and try again.

 Well, it used to be much worse then now. So bad at one point I did exactly what a couple others have suggested, write the post in a different program and paste it. I did it in Outlook as a draft message and once it posted successfully simply deleted the draft. It would work in gmail too.
