I don't want to be a trained flea anymore !!!

Fleas have an amazing ability. A flea can jump vertically up to 7 inches and horizontally up to 13 inches. An amazing feat for an insect who is only maybe 1/16" long.

If you take one, and put it in a glass, it WILL jump out.

If you put a lid on that same glass for a very short while. The flea will only jump as high as the lid. If you remove that lid, the flea will never jump higher than what they learned while trapped under that lid.

The proverbial ceiling.

They know their limitations and learn to keep their world within that space.

Much ... like ... We do ...

While self or society imposed limitations are not uncommon with most, I feel mine are palpable and wide reaching. Two of the biggest reasons for my limitations are fear and past disappointments.

I have friends who believe, if you follow 'The Secret' way of life or throw it out to the Universe, great things will follow. Ask and you shall receive policy. While I didn't read 'The Secret', I do believe in goals, positive thinking & karma. Negativity and karma are most certainly a bitch.

Here's what I do know today ... I no longer wish to be a trained flea and I'm the only one who can start making the required changes. Removing the lid was the easy part, the hard part for me is ... the jumping.

Here goes nothing !!!

 There's so much goodness on the other side of that glass, so jumping high enough to get to the goodies is all that much more rewarding!
