The Insecurities Have Taken Hold A Poem It is very hard for . I want to give Us a chance to be But my insecurities They live and breathe And take hold And they are now All I can see. I shouldn't even Be more than friends with you. I should have left things there But I let the boundaries blur And now saying we have To go back to being Just friends will probably Turn you off completely Bringing our friendship To an end. I know you are new To all this This is a new phase Of your life. I could guide you But I found about A few things And the insecurities Like I said Have taken hold They act clairvoyant Even though it might Just be paranoia. But I can't be your rebound lover You will always compare to her I would rather be alone We had some fun I now understand better What you were running from. I have been here Way too often. it all starts with the ears... they listen to their torn heart tales creeps up to the brain... where the tales of woe transform to compassion,and again to passion as we feed them strength we tighten the bond as we tighten the bond we weaken the defense soon body fluids dance in unison and passion transforms and time and tales of why, and how, and who brought us close get stronger get clearer with time you call it sucker i call it misguided passion and so goes the circle of cum passion there is a world of difference between insanity and stupidity
