Close The Distance. A Poem

We were miles away from each other
Complaining that we needed sleep.
But horniness was also a factor.
To which we made suggestions to each.
Ah yes! How nice it would be
If we were in the same bed.
Even for a quickie I said.
To which you were in agreement.
If only that could have been!
They say miracles do happen.
So maybe someday we will
Close the distance.
And take the next step.
