To Be Happy For Him A Poem It is a lot to ask of me To be happy for him He found someone else More to his liking. I did not know He would wield a shovel To my gut when he said This was the person He had been looking for For the last five years I was what? I guess the answer Is nothing much. How can I be happy For someone who until Last week Was the man I wanted To be with Who I dreamt about Who I loved kissing And touching And so much more Who thought that all Immaterial When someone he said Was more suitable Came along? How can I be happy For him when he Basically took A stake to my heart? I was considered now Just persona non grata. I may get to a place Of acceptance. But wish for His happiness? I am not a saint. I may say I am happy for you To him in a text message But I am saying to myself Go pump sand! Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely |

Maybe you are not happy for him after all. You say that to not be selfish maybe? Well be selfish. learn to love yourself first. That doesn't mean you wish him harm, just have a good life because you never deserved me in the first place.

You are the better person for your words. Nothing last forever but the earth quake and sky. Maybe by doing what you did will be your ticket to a better man. If he end up alone he'll remember your words and call you. (Just remember why he left you the first time is he really worth the second chance to break your heart twice). It's good to leave a relationship knowing your the better person. Now go out and enjoy your day.

Having someone you put your heart on the line for to just up and go is a hard thing to forgive. If he never let you know that you weren't the exact thing he was looking for and he was still searching for it, he's a loser and you're better off for it. Let some other woman have him because she too will just have him till he gets tired of her too. Another question, did you let how you felt be known to him? If so, how did he respond when you told him? The more I read about your relationship seems to make me believe that he thought of you as a friend and a booty call. Sorry, that mat hurt but I feel he was just using you. I don't know if he promised you anything but you can look at it like he was a blessing for you.....just look at all the great stuff you are writing. Most artist feel that their best work comes from heartache, but who am I? Just some fool on a site that doesn't cater to my needs but enjoys some of the reads that are here.
