Need A New Tune To Tune Him Out A Poem

I wish it were different.
But it is the same result.
Another failure
Another episode
Of a broken heart.

He was honest
I will give him that.
I appreciate that quality
It is better than
It's lack.

I need to give myself
A pep talk
Tell myself
It is his loss.
If only I believed it
Right now I am feeling
The loss is both of ours
More mine than his.

Thank you for reading and commenting. I am glad you think the poem is nicely written. I feel sorry alright. LOL But at least I had a few good times to remember. He was much better than 90 percent of the other guys on Senior Sizzle...maybe even 99 percent in my experience.
