His Character Flaws A Poem I don't want to go negative And think of a guy who Was less than pleasant. But I seemingly Can't help it. This guy demanded understanding Yet offered little in return I can only now describe him As selfish. Yes, selfish to a fault. It hurts to think I can be So easily dismissed. But it is not like He was the first And probably Won't be the last. But still I would like To read him the riot act! Tell him that He is disingenuous And a hypocrite. If he didn't see it I would give him instances. I guess to each his/her own. They have their own business. In his case his is ironic. To demand tolerance Yet offer judgment For those he thought inferior. Hey buddy you know That saying "look in the mirror?" Maybe you will see What I can But maybe not. In that case I am pointing out Those character flaws That are seemingly hid From yourself. Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely |

Once upon a time I held this person in high esteem, sadly he did/does not see me in the same regard which leads me to see his lack of tolerance when he demands that of others. Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely

It's good to write about negative things as long as you get rid of them and they appear in your rear view mirror.
