A Caring Man's Birthday A Poem
A Caring Man's Birthday A Poem He is a man Who does for others. He cares With a heart that Seems enormous. He has had to fight So many demons Real and the ones He created himself. But he beats them. Back for a day Some many more Months, years And decades. Knowing they could return He battles on. I admire him. Can you tell? I admire his heart And his mind That is so creative He thinks so far Out of the box. Making connections With words That few have made before. It is his birthday Another year older. If wisdom is bestowed With the midnight hour. I bet he savors it And puts it in his bank To write about later. To a man that gives So much of himself. Offering a hug And this poem Seems like A small gift. But I am hoping He might be thankful And maybe even Tickled pink. Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely |

Nice poem. You could have written it about me. Especially since I just had a birthday and you didn't get me anything. Oh and who is this dude that keeps saying that your writings are too long and boring? Here's a tip for him...don't read them. Pretty simple. I'm sure someone on these blogs write a 5-10 word blog for you. As for yesmam, keep 'em coming.

very nice and thoughtful poem. I hope he knows you wrote this for him. It would be better than any hallmark card in my book.
