How He Makes Me Happy A Poem

Does he know
How happy
He makes me
Just by spending
His time and energy
In my company?

He is a gift!
Most assuredly!
He listens me.
He lets me speak
Offering comments
When he wishes
When something clicks
Then he relates
A story of his.
This I relish!

This give and take.
And then when we
Get to the point
Where talking
Becomes unnecessary.
We know a place
To give each other
More attention.
Ah! yes!
The bedroom!

There we can give
And take
Actions of pleasure.
This is where he shines
In the happiness department.
He is like the manager.
I am the customer.
But then we switch it up
With our role reversal.
That reciprocation
Is the best example.
I would point it out
Were he to inquire about
What brings me happiness.
