Thankful I Did Not Give Up Too Soon A Poem

Just when I think
I should give up looking
Along came a man
Worthy of my interest.

His story does pull
At my heartstrings.
I am so glad
He shared it with me
So glad he opened up.

I have had a tendency
To want to go too fast.
When I meet someone
So intriguing and nearly
Perfect for me.
But I will relax
And let things be.
Que sera sera
Will be my<b> mantra
</font></b>Accompanied by a wish
For more chatting
And a future meet.

I should give thanks
That I did not give up
Looking for someone
A day too soon.
I should be thankful
That he and I have
Responded to each
Other's messages
And began a dialog.
