The Way To My Heart A Poem
The Way To My Heart A Poem I mentioned I liked flowers So you brought me some When we first met. The weeks have passed And the flowers have wilted. I am now going to have To do the sad task Of getting rid of them. I thought of putting The roses in a book Save a few For a remembrance. It would mean That I think of you As special And deserving Of reverence. Maybe I am getting ahead Of everything I do have that tendency. But in all honesty Flowers bring out The best in me. The way to my heart Besides words and deeds Would have flowers Given as tokens Of affection. So there you have it. If you can follow directions. Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely |

I luv flowers... my daughter brought me roses last week... just out of the blue... I luv it when spontaneity happens... made me think of this one... Camila Cabello - "Havana" Hey Havana, ooh na-na (ay) Half of my heart is in Havana, ooh-na-na (ay, ay) He took me back to East Atlanta, na-na-na Oh, but my heart is in Havana (ay) There's somethin' 'bout his manners (uh huh) Havana, ooh na-na (uh) He didn't walk up with that "how you doin'?" (uh) (When he came in the room) He said there's a lot of girls I can do with (uh) (But I can't without you) I knew him forever in a minute (hey) (That summer night in June) And papa says he got malo in him (uh) He got me feelin' like Ooh-ooh-ooh, I knew it when I met him I loved him when I left him Got me feelin' like Ooh-ooh-ooh, and then I had to tell him I had to go, oh na-na-na-na-na... Thank you for reading and commenting. Receiving flowers out of the blue...that is super sweet of someone to give to you. I like the song Havana by Camila Cabello. Thank you for reminding me of the song. But I really do not see the connection with flowers. LOL Although I think I have seen Camila Cabello with a flower in her hair. in the lyrics... "Half of my heart is in Havana, ooh-na-na (ay, ay) He took me back to East Atlanta, na-na-na Oh, but my heart is in Havana (ay)" and when I thought about those lines... I felt the passion... sometimes, the little things mean a lot... especially, when people know... have a great week!!! your poem, which I enjoyed, was about the way to your heart... in the lyrics... Independently Romantic Sounds Better Than Lonely
